Aquitaine: All about Edge of Darkness

16 November 2020

A Classic one shot scenario Summer 1923

Keeper of Arcane Law: Seth Morrison

Guest player (first female player) Cally Morrison: Victoria Chapman from Georgia Prof of Fine Arts;
Alex Morrison: Merryweather's valet Carlford Nickels who walks with a cane;
Donovan Bollard: Dr. Heinrick Schnitzel;
Sam Morrison: Phil McGann: spiritual guide who only marries trees;
Abe Morrison: Fred Landers, a constantly cheerful Mormon bishop.

A group of strangers gather at the death bed of a mutual acquaintances Rupert Merryweather; where a terrifying burden is placed upon them to save the world.

This is a very scary story but made funny by the players, all the characterisations are brilliant but special mention to the top class impressions of Michael Caine and Ned Flanders (the Simpsons). Alex has a fabulous number of sayings based on the Alfred character played by Michael Caine in the Batman films.
Donovan produces another hilarious character in Dr Schnitzel, as does Sam with another handsome McGann Brother
Cally as a new player jumps in with both feet and produces some good one liners. Included are titty fights, suppositories and narwhals

Aquitaine: All about Captain Runch

Played by: [[Alex Morrison]]

First appeared in: [[The Lightless Beacon]]

DUCKS!!!!! Captain Runch is responsible for most of the obsession with Ducks by both the players and fans

Notable lines:

* [[The Lightless Beacon]] @ 25:00 "Have I ever told you about the USS Tallahassee? It went down off the coast of Innsmouth. 1100 men went in the water. 316 men came out. Ducks took the rest. They're all gathered up in the water in squares, y'know, like one of those old battle formations in Waterloo. When a duck's coming close we're just pounding and hollering, and sometimes the ducks go away, sometimes they don't go away. They just swim up, they look at you in the eyes with those dead, duck eyes. They got black eyes, y'know, like a doll's eyes, 'till they roll back and that beak comes in for your face. 1100 men went in the water. 316 men came out. Ducks took the rest."

Cameos in The Radio Man and Children of the Abyss

Runch is a saltly old sea captain, with a beard, who wears a Pea Coat and Sea Captains Cap and carries a fouling piece.

1888:Jack the Ripper is terrorising Whitechapel London and its up the the team to protect the area as part of the locally recruited vigilantes, as the police have failed to stop him. Can they solve the identity of the most notorious serial killer in British history?

The musical track is particularly appropriate and creepy and the boys carry out the play in a smog filled room to add to the atmosphere of victorian London

Master or Arcane Lore: Peter Morrison

Characters
Alex Morrison as Dudley Stuart Townsend- an upper class chap
Sam Morrison as Carter Carpenter (Stinky Fingers)
Donovan Bollard as Constable John Neil (who loves Ranch)

Additionally it is worth waiting for the "bucket handout" for which Alex will later get revenge.
There is also a intriguing range of British accents!

Grove of the Ever-Watching Eye

Parter however, who is the scout for the group has gone missing! The team is convinced something bad has happened ... they need to save their brother.

Hadleys Hope is a terra forming plant on the planet LV42 where the crew of the Nostromo first encountered the xenomorphs. But Ellen Ripley has only just been picked up and no one one at Hadleys Hope is aware of the horror awaiting them.

Humans are about to find out they are not top of the food chain.

Characters:-
Game Mother: Alex Morrison;
Able Morrison as Drac Gosset Junior;
Seth Morrison as Nigel Copperbottom the third;
Peter Morrison as Davidge Quaid;
Seth Morrison as Spill McGann (another McGann family member)

Necronomidog

2026-01-28T21:26:10Z

Aquitaine: Tallahasees strange dog

Necronomidog (AKA Necronomidogavan)

Necronomidog makes a first appearance in The Radio Man 413: Your House and is followed up in The Radio Man 414 Delivery

Whilst investigating the basement once more the Arkham boys hear a strange skittering noise from the first floor of Corbitt's House...is it a head beast, a rat or something more.

In the back dining room there is motion in the darkness, the flashlight beam falls on "something"

Its about the size of a dog, maybe a labrador, it is a combination of a dog and spider (or grasshopper). It has numerous legs, some canine, some something else. It has sharp fangs and it begin to growl. Its eyes light up from the flashlight (torch).

It is another creation of the Frankenstien of Arkham (Corbitt). It is incredibly fast as it races towards Tallahasee and Dom.

They open fire on it, causing some damage, but it escapes, leaping over Tallahasee without injuring him. Dom intends to stab it but it scrambles out of the broken kitchen window into the rain, whimpering as it runs. Dom decides to follow it rather than shoot it and Tallahasee decides to do the same.

It leaps the back fence into the yard beyond. Dom retreats to the house but Tallahasee decides to jump the fences and follow the trail of blood. Hot Fuzz style. Tallahasee leaps the fence like a shining hero, his diamond skin reflecting a single beam of sunlight. Dom badly injured is unable to follow.

Screams lead Tallahasee to an adjoining house, where "the thing" has cornered a housewife. It is looking for a new exit. Net jokes ensue. Tallahasee's intention is to capture it so uses his bull whip to tangle up the dog thing. He is going to whip it "longways". As far as the housewife is concerned a man gloriously bursts in, diamond skin glimmering and says "Don't worry baby I got this". She will tell her children and children's children for five generations about the mysterious diamond man.

He captures it and he now has a spider dog, which he takes back to his house. Tallahasee finds an old dog kennel, tries to patch up its injuries and leaves it some food and water. He has always wanted a dog, and now he has one, he thinks its cute and loveable.

The name Necronomidog came about from the Patreon chat.

CURRENTLY

Necronomidog makes his next appearance in Blood Horn Blues 603 The Disembodied Artist as Tallahasees companion. He has by now morphed into something less horrible and more dog like, but with spider legs and six tongues. He is heroic in the face of the Axe Man trying to protect Tallahasee and is injured again. Tallahasee takes him to the safe house where Necro and Devon Black are patched up, although Devon loses a hand and Necro loses another leg, and maybe a tongue.
