Summary
This one was a bit different. It was actually a D&D campaign; not Call of Cthulhu. The investigators sent their minds to another dimension (a D&D dimension) to rescue Simeon Kantstandyerbitz's long-lost brother, Timeon Kantstandyerbitz.
The campaign runs for six episodes (3.501 to 3.506), released between The Fall of New Jerusalem and Radio Man. It is a D&D 5e game using Sandy Petersen's Cthulhu Mythos for 5e instead of Call of Cthulhu, with Alex Morrison as the DM. It begins in 3.501: Under a Strange Sky, when five amnesiac strangers wake on a hilltop beside a black pillar above the town of Evanstone.
Campaign Recap
Five amnesiac strangers wake on a hilltop above Evanstone, a village where people vanish at night and silvery dead lights drift through the streets. The elf innkeeper Shen points them toward the mayor's manor, where they break in, cross a mirror portal and descend to the Obsidian Ossuary of the protectors of the ways. A statue tests them and the vault beyond holds a book and a lantern that shows each of them a past life on Earth: Drandy Savage is Dr. Simeon, Mathon is Billy McConnell, and Tim is Simeon's lost brother, Timeon. In the manor's cellar they find the mayor dead, and Glenn's reading of his memories shows that Shen serves a being beyond the ways and wants the book, which then vanishes. On the hill in 3.506: Brother's Keeper they kill Shen and his ghouls, and then finish the ritual that opens the way, without letting Shen's entities through, and send the brother home.
