Major Baker's Cat is a medium-sized cat of many colors who can talk and claims to be a major in the feline battalion of Uranus. In 3.501: Under a Strange Sky he wakes on the hilltop with the rest of the party, charms Sheriff Terrick Cobb with figure eights around his legs and a successful Persuasion roll, and keeps the sheriff talking about what has happened in Evanstone.
In 3.502: Monster Squad he haggles with Shen, the elf innkeeper of the Stoneway Inn, for cheaper rooms with a Persuasion roll and a dance, reveals that he speaks elvish, and proposes the plan to sneak into the mayor's estate that night. He then keeps watch from the rooftops.
In 3.503: Polterheist he uses his broad-spectrum vision to see the dead lights that chase the party and gets the sense that weapons will not hurt them. He then leads the run across the rooftops of Evanstone to the mayor's manor with a natural 20 on Perception, and joins the fight against the stone creatures in the master bedroom with his claws and teeth.
In 3.504: Gleaming the Cube he reads the Elvish on the key plate with his Uranian eyes and turns each of the four keys in its lock with his mouth. He is lowered into the hole to scout and spots the gelatinous cube, then leads the way into the pyramid room, where his magic sight picks out a glowing statue.
